The Jerusalem Community Advocacy Network is conducting awareness sessions for women on psychological first aid, community issues, and legal awareness as part of the project "Promoting Social Cohesion in the Town of Kafr Aqab."

The Jerusalem Community Advocacy Network carried out a series of awareness meetings and sessions over dozens of gatherings, targeting 30 women from the Kafr Aqab area. The sessions covered various topics, including psychological first aid, community issues, and legal awareness of the laws in effect in Jerusalem. These sessions are part of the “Promoting Social Cohesion” project, aiming to empower participants psychologically, socially, and legally, and to strengthen their role in building more aware and cohesive communities.

These sessions have contributed to increasing participants’ knowledge, developing their skills in coping with stress and crises, and enhancing their ability to understand their rights and engage positively with community issues. This, in turn, has led to a greater sense of empowerment, confidence, and capacity to create positive change in their local environment.

As part of continuing this community effort, a new training course will soon be implemented under the same project, targeting another group of women with the aim of expanding the reach and deepening the positive social impact.
